learn more about my character, victoria!

Victoria is one of the side characters in my story, Dedicated To The Kidz I Fought. Victoria has just recently moved to Crested Butte, Colorado from New York with her adoptive mother, Gianna, her adoptive, younger brother, Ollie, Ollie's dog, Beav, & her beloved calico cat, Thor. Even though she's...not really interested in the country hick lifestyle, she wants her mum to be happy & feel more spiritually connected, so she agreed to go along with the move.

It's the beginning of the Fall 2008 school year, & Victoria is starting her 9th grade year. She stuck out like a sore thumb going in, but least most of the attention was positive--curious why her family woul move all the way to a small mountain town like Crested Butte. Victoria finds this a great way to insert herself into the preestablished social hierachy.

Because there's no dance team at this new school, she joins cheerleading to fill that dance hole in her heart. Which gets her acquainted with the more popular girls in her class. As a result, they "take her in" as a friend & get her acclimated. It doesn't take long into the school year that others recognize that Victoria is one of them.

She doesn't mind Ollie's new friends, she's happy he's making some so fast, though brushes them off as nothing more than...his friends. He's annoying, so they shouldn't be too far off from him. Their relationship isn't bad, per say, but he can get on her nerves sometimes & she prefers to be left out of his antics.
