Cecilia is one of the side characters in my story, Dedicated to The Kidz I Fought. She is a freshman at Crested Butte Community School, when the story begins, & the only daughter to Serenity, who's the owner of "Morning Fix",cafe-by-day-bar-by-night in town. She's an astute but also nerdy & theatric student, enjoying the activites & classwork in school but...not the social aspect.

When Iris comes back around her junior year, the two rekindle their long neglected best friend status. Due to both of their social awkwardness & aspects that they outwardly express, they both experience bullying, ridicule, & exclusion. As a result they take solace in one another & being each other's biggest fans.

She's always busy doing something--whether it be school work, her variety of hobbies, extracurriculars, or working with her mum at her business. Iris is usually dragging her away to have fun or Serenity telling her to go be a kid for a while.

She tries to be as optimistic as possible--even when she feels isolated, lonely, or ugly. Why do these other, negative opinions matter when those who truly care & take time to know her say otherwise?
